Baby
  • Indulge your Baby with Massage - You already know that massage feels good, but it is also beneficial to your baby's body. A gentle massage may help babies with regulating digestion, expelling trapped gas, and decreasing production of stress hormones.
  • Encourage Development - some of our most fundamental activities are learned through simple baby exercises. For example, teaching your baby how to roll over will help them in building strength for crawling; reaching and grabbing develops their sense of space and encourages intellectual growth. Help your baby with these basic activities. You can teach your baby how to roll over by holding a toy over him or her, thus encouraging your baby to reach for it.
  • Grow a Self-Confident Baby - When you give your baby consistent warm physical contact by hugging or kissing him or her, you build one of the most important values, self-confidence.

Toddler
  • Be a Role Model - toddlers not only depend on their parents in every way, they also learn everything from their parents. If you are negative or aggressive, they will copy your attitude. So, try your best and set a good example.
  • Pay Attention - everyone wants to be heard, and especially your toddler. You have to make sure you pay attention and listen. Bring yourself on their level, look at their eyes and talk to them.
  • Give Them Some Control - sometimes, toddlers misbehave just because they feel powerless. So, from time to time, let them decide on the small things. Let them choose the color of a sweater, when they'd rather not wear one at all. Or, give them a choice of what fruit they would want to snack on. You will create a situation where everyone wins, and wind up with a happier toddler.

Child
  • Encourage Them to Explore - When you give your child interesting toys or play games that call for climbing, running, painting or building, not only are you chasing off boredom, but developing body coordination as well.
  • Teach Them Good Manners - This is the great time to start teaching your child good manners. Start by being a role model: use Please, Thank You, You Are Welcome regularly, talk respectfully with people you interact with, follow proper table manners… and your child will follow your example.
  • Read to Them Often - Read to your child at the same time of every day, for example at bedtime. Read to them whenever they ask you. You will be developing your child's imagination and provoking interest to reading.
