Growth charts provided by the CDC are used in most doctors' offices to measure
childrens growth. Now you can use these charts at home in between doctor
visits. All you need is your child's weight and height!
CDC growth charts are a series of percentile curves that show the distribution
of selected body measurements in children. The charts were developed in 1977 by
the National Center for Health Statistics, and are accepted by the World Health
Organization, for international use, by health professionals in determining the
adequacy of a child's growth.
